Slovenac otjeran zbog alkohola
Finski olimpijski odbor objavio je da je njihov glavni trener skijaša skakača, Slovenac Igor Medved, otpušten sa ZOI-ja zbog konzumacije alkohola, a 44-godišnji trener, koji je već napustio olimpijsko selo u Predazzu, ispričao se zbog svojih postupaka, piše STA.
- Medved se vratio kući, a stvar je povezana s konzumacijom alkohola. Ozbiljno shvaćamo kršenje pravila naše momčadi i odmah smo reagirali - rekla je Janne Hanninen, čelnica Finskog olimpijskog odbora.
Šefica Finskog skijaškog saveza, Marleena Valtasola, najavila je da će se slučaj riješiti nakon završetka Igara u Italiji, jer je to bilo ponašanje koje je "kršilo pravila i vrijednosti" finske olimpijske momčadi.
Medved se ispričao za svoje postupke. Pogriješio sam. Jako mi je žao. Želim se ispričati cijeloj finskoj reprezentaciji, sportašima i navijačima, rekao je trener, dodavši da neće dalje komentirati tu stvar.
