Preživjeli i obitelji žrtava tsunamija u Indijskom oceanu prije 20 godina posjetili su u tišini u četvrtak masovne grobnice, zapalili svijeće i tješili jedni druge diljem jugoistočne i južne Azije kako bi obilježili katastrofu u kojoj je poginulo oko 230.000 ljudi. Potres magnitude 9,1 po Richteru u blizini obale indonezijske pokrajine Aceh izazvao je 26. prosinca 2004. tsunami, a valovi visoki čak 17,4 metra udarili su u obale Indonezije, Tajlanda, Šri Lanke, Indije i devet drugih zemalja.
