Pictures must credit: Marvel/Disney Here's a first look at Hollywood icon Harrison Ford stepping into the world of Marvel superheroes. The veteran Indiana Jones and Star Wars actor, 81, plays newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross in the new Captain America movie,Brave New World. There's also a new Captain America after Avengers: Endgame when Chris Evans as Steve Rogers walked away from the shield. The new hero is Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, one of the president's security men and in the Captain America programme. The official plot says Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the reason behind a global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red. Ford's character Ross has appeared in other Marvel films and was originally played by the late William Hurt. Ford stepped into the role after Hurt died in 2022. An action packed teaser trailer for the film, due out in February next year, sees Ford telling Mackie he wants to keep on with the Captain America project. But then during his inaugural speech there is an assignation attempt on the president and Mackie's character sprints into action. He later warns Ford that his inner circle has been compromised. “Kapetan Amerika: Vrli novi svijet” stiže u veljači ‘25.

Marvel Entertainment objavio je službenu najavu za superherojski film "Kapetan Amerika: Vrli novi svijet" ("Captain America: Brave New World"), u kojem je eponimnog superheroja utjelovio Anthony Mackie. On se prvi put pojavio u Marvelovu filmskom svemiru u filmu "Kapetan Amerika: Ratnik zime", u kojem je igrao Sama Wilsona, poznatijeg kao Falcon. Ulogu je poslije ponovio u filmu "Kapetan Amerika: Građanski rat", serijalu "Osvetnici" i miniseriji "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier". Sam Wilson preuzeo je titulu Kapetana Amerike u filmu "Osvetnici: Završnica", kada mu je njegov dugogodišnji prijatelj Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) predao svoj štit nakon što je odlučio da se želi vratiti u prošlost i provesti život s Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell).

“Kapetan Amerika: Vrli novi svijet" režirao je Julius Onah. Radnja filma događa se nakon miniserije "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" i prati Sama dok se pokušava dokazati kao novi Kapetan Amerika. U novom filmu Sam odlučuje hoće li Kapetan Amerika postati agent američke vlade, no prije toga mora spriječiti plaćenog ubojicu koji se pokušava riješiti predsjednika Thaddeusa "Thunderbolta" Rossa. Njega glumi Harrison Ford, kojeg u najavi nakratko možemo vidjeti kao Red Hulka, Rossova alter-ega iz Marvelovih stripova. "Kapetan Amerika: Vrli novi svijet" u kina dolazi 14. veljače 2025.
